Rocky Osborn started doing magic when he was 9, and by the time he was 18 he had added comedy to his entertainment repertoire. His first magic trick took him a week to learn. His last trick, called Brain Wave — which he picked up at age 40 — took him an hour to master.

The owners of Tesoro Winery Tasting Room in Old Town Temecula decided that Osborn’s blend of magic and laughter is a good fit for their venue, so they’ve slotted him to perform there every Saturday from 4 p.m. to closing.

“I get to work for people who epitomize the true Temecula spirit,” Rocky explained. “This is a warm, friendly, hospitable place for me to work.  I love the owners. I get to do a fast-pace show in a place I feel comfortable in.”
